Anyone in the United States who is in recovery from substance use β or who is just starting their journey β can use Aivaapp. We also serve family members of people in recovery who want guidance on how to provide support.
All Aivaapp mentors and sponsors undergo background checks, reference checks, and complete our certified peer mentor training program. We require at least one year of sustained recovery and ongoing training compliance.
Absolutely. We take privacy very seriously. Your personal information is never sold or shared with third parties. You control what you share with your mentor, and all communications are confidential. We comply with HIPAA standards where applicable.
We support recovery from all types of substance use disorders β including alcohol, opioids, stimulants, cannabis, and co-occurring behavioral addictions. We match you with mentors who have relevant lived experience whenever possible.
Most people are matched within 3β7 business days of completing their profile. In high-demand areas, it may take up to two weeks. We never rush the matching process because we believe the quality of the connection matters.
